Measure all three dimensions yourself — do not estimate. Measure ceiling height at the lowest point in the room (account for beams, ducts, and fans). An inch matters and will factor into the dimensions and calculations of the entire build. Inaccurate dimensions can lead to an incorrect build.
Include anything that breaks a flat ceiling or wall plane — even if it seems minor.
For each: location (e.g. 'beam runs front-to-back, 6ft from left wall'), size, and lowest height from floor.
